Two people are working with large fallen logs on a construction site. One person is standing with a measuring tape, the other is bending down, possibly inspecting or marking the logs. In the background, there is construction equipment, including a yellow John Deere backhoe loader, and a white pickup truck.

Meet our Forester - Jack Rodgers

Jack's forestry career began early, having grown up in the lumber industry. He spent his childhood learning and taking in the industry's practices. Jack gained practical experience in the sawmill at a young age, where his love for the industry began and continued to grow. In May, he graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Forestry Operations and Business. Jack is now well-equipped to help landowners maximize the value of their timber. We are proud to have Jack on board and excited for the knowledge, energy, and care he brings to every tract we step onto! Jack is here to help landowners understand the value of their timber, make informed decisions about harvesting, and determine the type of harvest to implement.

If you've been wondering whether your timber is ready to sell, Jack can guide you through:
- Timber Valuation
- Market Timing
- Harvest Planning
- Long-Term Forest Health

Around here we proudly call him our LumberJack
